The Value of Your Soul

The Value of Your Soul

Mark 8:37-38 “or what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”

I just happened to accidentally found this short clip movie on and I find it interesting. It is only 5mins though.

While watching it I don’t really understand the moral of the story or what the author’s message of the story then I scrolled down on the comments, then this comment caught my eye and I was enlightened, 🙂
It says like this “The moral of the story is not to sell your soul for material things. You’ll become trapped in a world of deception and dilusions.” LITTO V

Setting our affections above could gain us so much done trying to fill in the holes we have while we are here on earth material things, beautiful expensive clothes, gadgets and money that perisheth and could not even make us happy continually the whole day. Colossians 3:2-3 “Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.” We might be glad of these possessions but only for a due season of time. As what the wisest man hath said “because wanting cannot be numbered”. Ecclesiastes 1:15 “That which is crooked cannot be made straight: and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.”

The sad thing about it, is sometimes it’s too late when we realize and we cannot escape anymore. Like the little Boy Doll riding on the bike trying to escape. When you choose this world over what God hath been trying to give you w/c is Eternal Life in Christ Jesus. You have no escape anymore.

Hell is described in the Bible as a place of great despair, sorrow, and agony. Read the following verses, and you will see what I mean.

Matthew 8:11-12, “Many shall come from the east and the west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven: but the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Matthew 13:41-42, “The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; and shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”

Matthew 13:49-50, “So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Yes, hell is truly a place of torment. And those in hell will face not only physical torment, but mental anguish as well. For, you see, those in hell will be fully aware of the fact that they could have gone to heaven if only they had not chose to reject Christ. Luke 13:28, “There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.” In hell people will learn the true meaning of regret.

To those who say, “hell is right here on earth,” you haven’t seen the half of it. Think about it. No matter how bad things seem here on earth, your life here will some day end. You will live what? 80 years? 90 years? Then theoretically your death would put an end to this earthly so-called hell. Here on earth you have an escape from all sickness or evil. Death is your escape.

But the real hell which awaits those who reject the Lord IS NEVER OVER. That is how I know that hell is not here on earth, because where hell is concerned, there is no escape! Mark 9:44 says that hell is “Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.” And Matthew 25:46 tells us, “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” And in Revelation 14:11 we read, “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever; and they have no rest day nor night…” Friend, a heart attack cannot end the true hell. A bullet to the head will not end hell. Nothing will put an end to the torment of hell.

Your worst experience here on earth pales in comparison to the place called hell that Jesus spoke of. Therefore, comparing the evil that is happening on earth to hell is like comparing a slight sunburn to being set on fire — a fire that cannot be quenched. There is no comparison!

Foolishness is Foolish

Foolishness is Foolish
In the days of Noah, people act as according to their selfish desire and do what ever please them as if there is no God that is watching them. So God decided to destroy the whole creation through the flood. Who haven’t heard this terrible story of judgement to those who don’t believed and unconditional extending of mercy to those who believed. It was a 40 days and 40 nights of very heavy rain. The whole earth was covered by water and Only Noah and his family was saved and pair of female and male animals on the arc. Why Noah was chosen by God? It’s because Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. How can we find grace in the eyes of the Lord? by seeking Him and pleasing Him. Then If God won’t be pleased anymore to us, we should be careful and be prepared.

Genesis 6:4-8 “4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

So what about Lot? Remember the terrible thing happened to Sodom and Gomorrah? What are Sodom and Gomorrah by the way? It’s a city full of immorality, doing things according to their own desires, the desires of the flesh and not of the Spirit. These cities are believed to be a city were homosexuality were embraced as fashion or a way of living and it is an abomination to the Lord because He only created Male and Female. Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And take note in God’s image we are created not just because of a one celled organisms that evolved through billion of years then now became a human. We came from God not that we came from nothing. We are accountable to God. God put judgement unto Sodom and Gomorrah and burned the cities. Lot was Abraham’s brethren and when Abraham knew that God will put judgement unto Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham intercede to God for the sake of Lot who was corrupted by living in a place of Corruption. So did Lot was saved but her wife that looked back died. Why is that? When God saved you from sin you should never look back unto those sins and says “It may better before than now.”

Genesis 19:24-29 “Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven;
And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.

But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.

And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord:

And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.

And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.”

All that believed God was saved. You could read the whole Bible everyone that believed was saved but those who aren’t and foolish perish. What will it cost you if you believe? Nothing. But what will it cost you if you believed not? Everything!

Psalm 14:1 “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.”

I Corinthians 3:19 “For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.”

1 Corinthians 1:18-31 “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

That no flesh should glory in his presence.

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.

No Commitment, Lots of Reasons

No Commitment, Lot of Reasons

My weekends had been a busy days. Just last Saturday, I was a little bit disappointed of the people who had been in the church much longer than me because they been lucky to have grown in a Christians family. I hope I have been too, but seeing them I think it’s better that I haven’t at least I knew how it was to be on the world so that I won’t be curios about it.

Saturday is our day for Extension Classes and feeding program for children, and Bible studies for Adults the whole day. Then I was disappointed to learn that only me and my sister and Eleazer are present to go to the area. We have 4 areas as of now because of lack of volunteers. The Young people who just live in the church woke up late, and even we who lived far away came earlier than them and sometimes when we came at the church they still asleep and we need to woke them up to prepare to go to the area. Their house from the church is just a step away. What is that? My blood rushed through my veins, but still I need to speak calmly and I’m still all smiles. So to make story short they end up having so many many reason so that they couldn’t go and their mother supported them (it wouldn’t happened if their father haven’t gone abroad to work because their father is a very faithful man.) 😦 Teaching the children only need at least 2 hours what is that for the 24 hours God hath bestowed upon us. I’m so sad and hurt. Then when we got back from the area I just saw them playing on gadgets what they so called IPad so I look away immediately and got home to prepare for the snacks for the Bible study on the afternoon.

Sunday morning while the preaching was going on I saw these young people talking, playing their Ipad’s then later on fell asleep?! Oh My God! why? Are they tired? very tired to sleep in front of the pastor’s preaching? No respect to the Word of God and to the minister. These cannot continue. As a youth group leader I have my responsibility to rebuke these young people even though they grew up in the church than me. They always complain, complain and didn’t even help or at least do something to the church. Yesterday afternoon, during Young people’s fellowship we are studying for our up coming Bible Quiz on the Minor Prophets, then what I hear after the discussion that my sister prepared while staying up late at night just to discussed to them is complain. 😦 “Oh no! I’m too busy to study!” “I don’t have time to read the Bible because so many projects at School.” and so on and on reasons! What I answered to them? Don’t say it to me while smiling, say it to God that saved you and died for you that you are so busy to read His Word. Then they got silent and later on I saw their mother stared at me angrily and smirking. My heart pound and I prayed so hard that God would console me. I am very very down in Spirit at that time. Parents have not done their responsibility to the spiritual growth to their children.

Deuteronomy 6:7 “And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”

Proverbs 22:15 “Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.”

Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Proverbs 23:13-14 “3 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.”

My parents are not Christians and I am not raised in Christian Home but at least I am glad God giveth Grace. 🙂

Psalm 68:5 “A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.”

Even though so many storms my youth I have encountered God has been so faithful guiding us and called us to His Holy calling. Therefore, It takes love and commitment to be a servant of the Lord. All Christians are servant to the Lord because He has purchased us with price of His Blood. We are not our own.

I Corinthians 6:20 “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.”

Ephesians 1:7 “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”

James 1:22 “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

My Prayer, Lord help me to have a heart that have patience that never runs out, lips that rebuked exhortation and can fired up the frozen souls in your congregation. Give me wisdom to understand every men’s heart and always speak with love. Make me a faithful servant and use my life as a blessing to others. Always keep me fired up for your service, my heart and flesh always fail but thou art the source of my strength Lord. In Jesus Christ name. Amen.

“Pag walang commitment mahirap talaga yan..” Our Pastor said. (In English: “If there is no Commitment it is really hard.”)

Philippians 3:14 “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

So let’s pray for each other. 🙂 for the Lord’s ministry and for the brethren that slowly getting strayed by the worlds delight. The Lord deserved to be served wholeheartedly not just half or just with the extra of our time.

Did you know…

Humanity’s Greatest Enemy

Humanity's Greatest Enemy

This day starts gloomy and dark, the rain pours continually the whole night. The sun had just shown it’s little rays but have not shown yet completely. It still seems to rain tonight. Because of the rain there is a little traffic when I was just going to my workplace, and as the Jeepney slowly moving, my eyes have seen a funeral parlor. I looked unto the people standing in front of that establishment impatiently waiting for a jeepney to ride on. Then a thought comes unto my mind. People been so busy day by day, waking up in the morning, then hurriedly prepare for work, sometimes even spared eating breakfast just to make it sure that they won’t be late for the work, spend the whole day working and when closing time comes, hurriedly go home to rest. Our days been so busy that we forgot time passes so swiftly. We spend mostly of our times for ourselves and we forgot the main purpose of our lives. Isaiah 43:7 “Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.” Then a song played on my mind.

“Only one life
So soon it will pass
Only what’s done for Christ will last
Only one chance to do His will
So give to Jesus all you days
It’s the only life that pays
When you recall
You have but one life”

So I stared back on the funeral home and I felt a terrible feeling. A feeling despair, hopelessness, fear, and so many ill feelings I can’t name. The image of death for me seems so terrifying and it really is. Death is a process of separation. I remembered the time when my beloved stepfather died. His unconscious body lying, his face that I cannot see Him smile anymore, the hands that I cannot feel the warmth of his touch again, made me feel sick. 😦 Oh! how Terrible death is. Hebrews 9:27 “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”. But it’s not just the physical body that dies, most importantly our spirit also dies. When your body or physical body dies your spirit separates from you body, that makes our body rot in the grave, and your spirit face God in judgement then if you haven’t receive Christ as your personal Saviour then second death will be yours. If you have receive Christ you won’t experience the “Second Death” which the Bible always tell which is in HELL. Revelation 20:14 “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.”

Matthew 10:28 ” And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

Romans 6:23 ” For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

How glorious it is for the believers of Christ. Death cannot defeat us anymore. Though our physical body dies but it is just for a moment only. Christ hath promised us to give us an incorruptible body, a body that is sinless and eternal in His second coming. 1 Corinthians 15:52-53 “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

But woe to them who haven’t knew the Lord and Saviour. Romans 10:14 “How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?”. We Christians should do our job before He comes back because if we haven’t taken the Great Commission He had told us to do, it will be woe unto us too. Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” How can we face the Lord if we are slacking in doing or not even doing the Job He had let us. 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”

My dear Brethren, If we are willing to gave anything or spend anything just to rush our babies, our love ones to the hospital when they are sick how much more for the precious souls that cost the Blood of Our Lord and Saviour? Why are taking this commission lightly? Even Christ gave His life.Luke 15:7 “I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.” Do you think Christ would ask you, how Christian you are, when you face Him one day? Do you think He will ask you how much have you gain in the World with the profession or possessions you have gain? Do you think He would even ask you and praise you with your attendance only every service? Exactly NO my friend. He would only ask us, “How many souls have you led unto me?” Do you think if you would answer Him, He would say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Matthew 25:23

So let us take this seriously and use every resources as much as we can and never let a single opportunity of winning a soul miss. Don’t be in despair if some of them won’t believe. Our job is only to tell them, to be a witness of our Lord unto them, It’s the Holy Spirit Job to compel them and make them believe.

We have Victory in Jesus. So let us use this power, The Grave don’t have His power anymore. He is defeated. The ultimate weapon to fight Him have been on our possession. The Salvation through Faith in Christ Jesus.

If you haven’t or don’t know how to receive Christ as your personal Saviour and Do not want to experience “Second Death” which is in HELL and you want to be sure If ever you die you will be in Heaven Click Here! 🙂
Now is the Day that your name should be written in the Book of Life. Revelation 20:15 “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Obedience is Humbleness

Obedience is Humbleness

This morning the sun was scourging hot and just a while ago, suddenly the sky darkened and the rains pours heavily. Lightnings and thunderstorms followed. As I saw people around me have been so scared with the sounds of explosions on the sky, closing there eyes and covering their ears. I remembered one of the preacher’s preaching in our church a few months ago. It was about obedience. He said, Even the storms, the waves, the wind that is a million times powerful than us (humans) obeyed the Lord, how much more we (humans) that is so powerless even against nature?

Remember in the Gospel of Mark 4:36-41 “And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.

And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?

And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?

And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”

Jesus only said in verse 39 “Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.” Storms, Tsunami’s, Tornado’s and so on could kill thousands of lives just in a blink of an eye but even with there power they have remembered that there is One that is so much more powerful than them, and it is there Creator, the One who gives them power, and It’s God. You could see even with there ability, nature humbled before God and doesn’t forget the Infinite One who created the Heaven and Earth with just a Word. Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” And If you’ll read the whole chapter you’ll notice the word “God said” redundantly.

How boastful I am, not just sometimes, but almost of the times I am rebelling against God, doing everything according to my own will without even asking God about His plans. I am so helpless still yet I am so arrogant. Still, Thank you Lord, You are so powerful yet you are humble enough even to die for me on the Cross of Calvary in order for me to be with you in your Eternal Glory in Heaven. Philippians 2:8 “And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.”

Nature teach us and even show us good examples how we should behave before God. Even the smallest creation of God that seems so unimportant, we could learn lessons from them. Even the Animals, if you will just observed you will learn so many things.Proverbs 30:24-28 “There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer; The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks; The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands; The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings’ palaces.” Animal instinct, Human virtues. 🙂

How Great is Our God is. But what I have done I am even contributing to things that destroys His beautiful creation. Not throwing garbage properly, not conserving energy and water. Even my body sometimes I neglect taking care of, doing too much work, eating unhealthy foods. I Corinthians 6:20 “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s”. I am guilty before the Lord. What He would say when He comes back? Have I done my responsibility? Let’s ponder on these things. I know He will help us to do right before Him.

My Prayer, Thank you so much for taking the time to count me worthy to die for. Even with my wretchedness and arrogance. Lord teach me how to have a humble heart toward you and to the people that surround me. Open my eyes and give me the wisdom to know and see how weak I am and how helpless I am without you.

May we walk humbly before God. Even the most powerful creation of God listens with just Word from the Lord, how much we? Right? 🙂 May you have a blessed weekend. Tomorrow I won’t be able to sit on my computer and post. See you on Monday. May you include me in your prayers for tomorrow’s Activities for the Children and Bible Studies. Thank you, I’ll Pray for you too. Because I believe in the saying: If you can’t reach them through your feet, You can reach them through your knees. 🙂 Isn’t it great? God is listening. Don’t ever stop praying. Remember, Boldness and Persistence.

Temper Control

Temper Control

there once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the fence.

The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily, gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence. Finally the day come when the boy didn’t lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.

The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence. He said “you have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the fence. the fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one.”

You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won’t matter how many times you say I’m sorry, the wound is still there.

Make sure you control your temper the next time you are tempted to say something you will regret later.

Proverbs 14:29 ” He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.”

Psalms 37:8-9 ” Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.”

Proverbs 29:22 “An angry man stirreth up strife, and a furious man aboundeth in transgression.”

Proverbs 16:32 “He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.”

Proverbs 14:17 ” He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly: and a man of wicked devices is hated.”

Proverbs 15:1 “A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.”

Ecclesiastes 7:9 “Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.”

So many many more verse in the Bible telling us not to be easily angry. I have read this story long long time ago. When I myself also is struggling with my temper. When I got saved I’ve been still struggling with the issues of my life. But as I draw myself closer to God he tells me through His Word how to overcome it. I can’t say that I cannot be angry anymore but there is already difference than before. right now, I could control it and keep it until I got calm inside not like before that it just burst out without control. Thanks God. 🙂

Satan already knew that there is nothing he can do for the believers Salvation. He cannot erase it anymore or make it undone. One you have confessed Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour, your name in Heaven was written in the Book of Life. Revelation 13:8 ” And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”So what he will do is to ruin your life here on earth and your testimony through targeting your weaknesses and I notice that in my case. It’s my temperance that is my weakness and i noticed that almost everyday there is something that will happen that will trigger my temper. Then I prayed harder and harder for God to help me control it. Then God helped me. 🙂

Just a few hours ago, People around me was bursting with anger. Then I was inspired to share this story. May you have a nice day. Remember Anger could defeat you so never let it control you. 🙂

Being Safe in Thy Promises

Being Safe in Thy Promises
Whenever I think about the future, of what things might be happening to me and to my family with the state we currently in, doubts and fears overcomes me. I don’t belong to a well off family I haven’t even finished my degree. So I’m a little scared of what might happen to me and my family in the future but a thought comes in to battle this anxiety forming inside of my mind. If God have delivered my family until now even before we got to knew Him, then how much more now that we already belonged to His family and had accepted Him and knew Him personally. How stupid am I, wasting my time worrying. Oh this body and carnality I have I must surrender to God. God Knew that everyday I will fear so does He made it sure to tell me everyday “Do not Fear”, in fact there are 365 “Don not fear’s” in the Bible.

God’s faithfulness is something that no one, nobody could surpass. Even if we believe not on His promises still He is just and faithful to accomplish His promises. 2 Timothy 2:13 “If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.” All I must do is not worrying and spending my energy on thinking of the solutions I don’t even know, but what I must do is simply just be faithful to Him and be obedient. Disobedience is curse but Obedience is blessings. Deuteronomy 28:2 “And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.”

Deuteronomy 7:9 “Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;”

Being Obedient to God and His commandments on this carnal body I have is not as easy as counting 123. Matthew 26:41 “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” John 15:5 ” I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” We cannot assure ourselves to be faithful just by doing it with our strength and power. We need Him, We need His help on making us faithful. We just don’t know how powerful prayer is through the Name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ if we don’t pray.

John 14:13 “And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.”

Philippians 4:19 “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:”

Proverbs 28:20 “A faithful man shall abound with blessings: but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent.”

So many many verses in the Bible telling us that we will not lack with blessing if only our hearts are right with God. So let us pray that God will help us to make our heart right with Him with the guidance of the Holy Spirit in our life. We cannot do it alone though it’s only through God that we could be right with Him, through His grace and mercy.

Psalm 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

Positive results comes from a positive thoughts. A Positive mind comes from a heart full of Faith in God. 🙂

Rise Above This (Eagles in Storm)

Rise Above This (Eagles in Storm)

Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is approaching long before it breaks?

The eagle will fly to some high spot and wait for the winds to come. When the storm hits, it sets its wings so that the wind will pick it up and lift it it above the storm.

While the storm rages below, the eagle is soaring above it. The eagle does not escape the storm. It simply uses the storm to lift it higher. It rises on the winds that bring the storm.

When the storms of life comes upon us – and all of us will experience them – we can rise above them by setting our minds and our faith toward God. the storms do not have to overcome us. We can allow God’s power to lift us above them.

God enables us to ride the winds of the storm that bring sickness, tragedy, failure and disappointment in our lives. We can soar above the storm. Remember, it is not the burdens of life that weigh us down, it is how we handle them.

Let us ponder with these Bible verses in I Peter 1:7 “That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:”

Job 23:10 “But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.”

These are just some of my favorite verses I always keep in my mind and heart because in my case Life seems to me a test. Being alive and waking up in the morning means another day for an examination and evaluation. Life is Trial itself. Life here on earth seems to be a preparation for the Eternal Life in Heaven. 🙂

♥ It Takes Love ♥

♥ It Takes Love ♥

I’ve noticed Monday is my very very tiring day. Even though I don’t go to work every Saturday and Sunday it seems I don’t have a day off at all. There is apart of me I don’t really like. It’s my very frail body. Whenever I do something that includes sweating such as walking or sports my Asthma always come to take me. Poor Me. Saturday and Sunday are the busiest days of my life. Saturday whole day I’ve been going with the Children Extension Classes and Feeding Program. With this frail body that can’t even get a rest this is what I get, Asthma attack 🙂 But you know I am so blessed whenever I saw the children listening and enjoying to my little sisters Bible stories and games. They are having fun. Right now I’m still learning how to tell stories to the children in a way that would catch their attention.

But it’s so sad that there are so few that are willing to be involved themselves in this ministry. As I thought about it if there be no willing people to teach this children with word of God the next generation will be No Hope. Simply feeling pity isn’t enough. God wants people who has the heart for service. It’s takes Love to do service for the Lord. Then I realized if I won’t step forward who else be? God has put a burden in my heart. A burden for future. I envy my sisters in positive sense because they are doing they’re very best, giving their all to reach and win souls. For a long time I’ve been wondering how they have done it? How come they’ve been so willing to do service wholeheartedly? and the preachers how come they’ve been willing to take the hardships in the ministry?

This reminds me on the verses in I Corinthians 13

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity[Love], I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity[Love], I am nothing.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity[Love], it profiteth me nothing.

Charity[Love] suffereth long, and is kind; charity[Love] envieth not; charity[Love] vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

And now abideth faith, hope, charity[Love], these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

The answer? It’s because of Love. Without Charity[Love] everything is Vanity. You can give without loving, but you CANNOT LOVE Without Giving.

My Prayer, Lord Fill me with Love towards the brethren and every people that surrounds me. Make me a vessel full of Love to extend your grace and mercy to every soul. I want to have a pure love whenever wherever I may be.

Even the Heavenly Father because of Charity[Love] gave His only begotten Son to die for me a sinner. I am unlovable, I’m wretched! but still He willingly died for me. What a great love has been bestowed upon me.

Romans 5:6-8 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Psalm 73:26 “My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.”
